You must be aged 65 years or older (50 years or older for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people)

To apply for a Home Care Package, you'll need to first register with My Aged Care, then apply for an assessment. You can contact them on 1800 200 422.

Once your Home Care Package has been assigned, you only have 56 days to find a provider and enter into a Home Care Agreement. After 56 days you may risk having your Home Care Package funding withdrawn.
